Obituary for James P. "Jim" Liddle

James P. "Jim"  Liddle
Florence-James P. “Jim” Liddle, 87, of Florence, Wis., passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018, at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center, Iron Mountain, Mich.

He was born August 13, 1930, in Iron Mountain, Mich., son of the late Jay and Elizabeth (Manike) Liddle. Jim proudly served in the Unites States Marine Corp. from 1952 until his honorable discharge in 1961. He was united in marriage to Linda Behling in July of 1955. They have had over 40 years of marriage together. Jim worked as a foreman for MJ Electric for over 20 years.

He enjoyed fishing and was a member of the ATV Club.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Linda Liddle; four sons, William (Debra) Liddle, Green Bay, Wis., John Vyvyan, Wis., Wayne (Bonnie) Vyvyan, Manitowoc, Wis., and Benjamin (Judy) Vyvyan, Louisiana; three daughters, Carrie Liddle, Iron Mountain, Mich., Renee Vyvyan, North Dakota, and Sherry York, Florence, Wis.; and by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home, Florence, Wis. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, 2:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Pastor Doug Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
